Lent starts today and ends on 24th March, and I have decided to do something crazy and give up sugar 🍚 for this period of time.
My entire family + most of my friends will have absolutely no faith in my ploy. And Tom quoted Homer Simpson to me when I announced my plan:
“Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try.”
I am going to prove you ALL wrong.
Just to clarify, when I say sugar, my main culprits are chocolate (any, and all sorts, I ❤️🍫), sweets 🍭🍬, CAKE 🎂, brownies 🍩, biscuits 🍪, sweet pastries 🍤, alcohol, mainly cocktails🍸🍹, hot chocolate ☕️😭, ice cream 🍧, juice 🍹and puddings of any sort 🍮🍔🍰🍦…
I’m not going to be silly and I will eat fruit 🍇🍓🍎and bread 🍞 etc, although no honey 🍯😔. And I am going to allow myself champagne 🍸, as I feel you shouldn’t turn down champagne 🍸if offered, it’s almost rude.
